I pitched an idea to Mens Journal to shoot a fashion story around the Dry Lake Bed Racing at the El Mirage Desert in California. They said yes as they like their fashion stories to be shot with real people. We where at the desert for 3 days, the people racing were all very accomodating and happy to be photographed and were very passionate when we talked to them about their cars. Here in these behind the scenes shots you can see how much fun it was hanging off the back off trucks and on top of ladders etc, we all were completely filthy and very very hot at the end of each day….
