Showmedia commissioned me to shoot the new Range Rover 2010 for the Sunday Times Quarterly. Martin Perry the art director mentioned the theme for the issue was nature, so i thought it would be great to shoot the car on a beach, after some assistance from Eddie Standish at Locate Productions i was pointed in the direction of Ynyslas Beach in northern Wales. We drove up the evening before and after an early breakfast, arrived at the beach at 7.30am and the light was absolutely amazing, a mix of clouds, sun and clear sky gave us a the right amount of contrast. I also, filmed the car and will release the footage in a few weeks once its been edited. Martin Bols at Zerone New York retouched the images in a beautiful manner and had the idea to give the images a slight green hue as this is the unofficial colour of the Land Rover brand.
